Construction Scope

The temporary sewage treatment plant comprises the following main components:
- Core treatment units: pre-treatment, AAO biological tank, secondary sedimentation tank, high-efficiency clarification, and filtration systems.
- Supporting systems: sludge treatment, disinfection, odor control, prefabricated equipment rooms, and office areas
- Auxiliary facilities: fire protection, ventilation, lighting, noise reduction, electrical, automation, instrumentation, and other essential systems.

Construction background

The River Mouth Creek Project forms part of Hainan province’s broader water quality improvement initiative. By intercepting direct sewage outlets, implementing clean and polluted water separation, constructing new sewage pipelines, and building an integrated sewage treatment plant for the River Mouth Creek, the issue of domestic sewage discharge in the Binjiang Road area has been addressed.

As the world’s first aluminum alloy assembly integrated sewage treatment plant, this project sets a new benchmark for lightweight, durable, and rapidly deployable wastewater solutions, especially suited for urban environments with limited space and urgent treatment demands.

Treatment Process

Sewage treatment process
Inflow → coarse screen → fine screen + cyclonic sedimentation → AAOO + secondary sedimentation tank (integrated prefabricated tank) → coagulation and precipitation → filter cloth filter tank → disinfection and discharge

Sludge treatment process

The sludge is dehydrated to 80% moisture content by a centrifugal dewatering machine, and then transported to the Mei’an sludge disposal center, a regional facility for composting treatment.
